Leaf Dog

Keeps one stairwell green and every visitor under review.

Courtyard duties

Three small jobs, completed before the warm tiles cool.

  • Leaf patrol

Checks every landing for dropped leaves, then returns them to the nearest pot.

  • Measured watering

One careful pour per planter; puddles are considered poor manners.

  • Doorstep pause

Sits by number twenty-three until the evening light reaches the rail.

House rules

Leaf Dog lives below the red rail at number twenty-three. Mornings begin with a slow stair inspection and a count of the balcony pots. The leaf hood stays on in every season. Neighbours may pass after a brief nose check. Couriers are watched from the warm tile. At sunset, the gold tag is polished once and the courtyard is declared adequately green.

Keep the landing green.
